A PSA typically delivers a message geared to serve the public interest. A PSA may also try to persuade the viewer to take some sort of action or to take a certain view on an issue, cause or organization. Other PSAs may simply be informational in nature or support government causes or community service activities. In any case, a PSA will have a message for the general benefit of the viewing public.
